The Ore Catch1 / 3

The Ancient Ruins are an ARCADE event. Nothing to assign, no overnight settle: you play a short run and get paid for what you catch. Four kinds of ore fall from the ceiling past a stone golem with a fist on each side.

  • Press 6 for the LEFT fist, 7 for the RIGHT (arrow keys also work). The golem never moves.
  • One ore per press. Holding the key does nothing.
  • A run lasts 45 seconds; 360 ore fall, about eight a second. Nobody catches them all.
OrePoints eachShare of what falls
Bronze Ore25Most common
Silver Ore100Common
Gold Ore300Uncommon
Diamond Ore1,000Rarest

It is TRIAGE, not speed. One diamond is worth forty bronze, so let cheap ore fall while you wait for the good stuff.

Earning Runs and the Leaderboard2 / 3
  • THREE runs a day earn Event Points (per UTC day). Later runs still count for the leaderboard and catch achievements but pay nothing, so warm up before your earning runs.
  • The daily limit only starts when the event opens. In PREVIEW, play as much as you like.
  • The Leaderboard’s Events tab ranks ore CAUGHT, not capped by the daily limit.

Runs are scored on the server, so a slow frame never affects the score.

Spending and Achievements3 / 3
  • The Event Shop trades Ruins points for AL$, Achievement Tokens, gold, Gear Upgrade Protection Tokens, Blessing Reroll Tokens, a Mercenary, random Proficiency Token draws, and 2,000-slot bags for all three bags. The bag lines beat anything gold can buy.
  • A one-time bonus chest pays free AL$ with no deadline. It stays sealed until the event opens.
  • Six achievements: play a run, play sixty-seven of them, and catch sixty-seven of each ore in a SINGLE run. They pay tokens, AL$ and three titles.
  • Ruins points are their OWN pool. They are not carnival points, and neither shop takes the other’s currency.

Brain Rot is the first title with a NEGATIVE stat: it takes Intelligence away. It is a joke title with a real cost, so read the card before equipping it.
