Always Leveling is a browser-based idle role-playing game. These terms are the agreement between you and the Always Leveling Team. By creating an account, playing as a guest, or making a purchase, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
They are written in plain language on purpose. Where a sentence could be read two ways, the everyday reading is the one intended.
You must be at least 13 years old to play, and at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the permission of a parent or guardian, and only they may make purchases.
If you are a parent or guardian and a purchase was made from your payment method without your permission, write to us and we will refund it.
You can play in two ways, and they are not equally durable.
One person, one account. Do not share an account, sell it, buy one, or create accounts to get around a suspension.
Some items can be bought with real money. Payments are handled by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. Prices are set and checked on our server at the moment of purchase, and shown to you before you pay.
This is an idle game, so leaving it running is not only allowed, it is the point. What is not allowed is interfering with how the game resolves.
Where something has clearly been gained by breaking these rules, we may remove it. Where an account is used to break them repeatedly or seriously, we may suspend or close it.
This game is in active development and is balanced by hand. Stats, drop rates, costs, level curves, skills and whole systems are retuned regularly, and something you have built may become stronger or weaker as a result. That is ordinary and expected.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and we may reset progress where a bug or an exploit has made a save inconsistent. We will avoid resets that are not necessary. If the game shuts down permanently, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can, and we will stop selling premium items before we do.
The game is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. It depends on third-party services — hosting, the database, the payment provider — and an outage in any of them will take it down with them. Idle progress accrues on our servers by elapsed time, so a short outage should not cost you the time you were away.
You can stop playing at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by writing to the address at the end of these terms. Deleting an account cannot be undone and does not refund past purchases.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account for something other than a breach by you, and you have unused premium purchases, write to us about a refund.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the game is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for lost progress, lost items, lost guest chronicles, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights your local consumer law gives you, and nothing here takes them away.
We store what the game needs to work: your email address if you have an account, your character and its progress, your purchase records, and basic technical logs. Authentication and storage are handled by Supabase, payments by Stripe, and hosting by Vercel. We do not sell your data.
Your character name and your ranking are public inside the game. Your email address is not shown to other players.
We may update these terms as the game changes. When we make a material change we will ask you to agree again the next time you sign in. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop playing and ask us to close your account.
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and disputes are subject to its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law where you live.
